Last weekend I saw Perfect Days, which is a movie shot in Tokyo and directed by Wim Wenders. The lead actor Koji Yakusho won the Cannes Best Actor Award in 2023 for the film. I believe anyone who saw this film can tell and should admit he deserves it. The movie captured some beautiful moments of everyday life in Tokyo, especially the public toilets and trees along with their shadows. It also makes me ponder about a solid attitude towards the fullness of life, and what everything that has to vanish throughout times means to it. I wonder whether you probably have seen this movie before but I just wanted to share these thoughts with you since I’m quite sure you would have enjoyed it as much as I did.
